What is 555 Astable Mode?
In Astable mode, the 555 timer outputs a continuous stream of rectangular pulses (a square wave) with a specific frequency. It doesn't have a stable state, so it switches between HIGH and LOW continuously.
Use this tool to design circuits for:
- Blinking LEDs (Strobe lights).
- Tone generation (Sound circuits).
- Clock pulses for digital logic.
Formula: Frequency = 1.44 / ((R1 + 2*R2) * C)
