🏗️ Concrete Volume Calculator

Calculate the required concrete volume (m³) and estimating premix bags for slabs, columns, and footings.

How to Calculate Concrete Volume?

Whether you are pouring a driveway or building a skyscraper, calculating the exact concrete volume is the first step. Ordering short can be a disaster, while ordering too much is a waste of budget.

🟦 For Slabs (Rectangular)

V = L × W × H

Multiply Length × Width × Height (Thickness).

🔴 For Columns (Round)

V = π × r² × h

Pi (3.14) × Radius Squared × Height.

Why Add "Wastage"?

Concrete volume calculations are theoretical. In reality, the ground is never perfectly flat, forms might bow out, and some concrete spills. Site engineers always recommend adding 5% to 10% safety margin to your order.

Bags vs. Ready Mix Truck

When should you mix it yourself and when should you call a truck?

  • Under 0.5 m³: Use Premix Bags (DIY is fine).
  • 0.5 m³ to 1.0 m³: Borderline. A small trailer mixer might be better.
  • Over 1.0 m³: Definitely order Ready Mix Concrete delivery. Mixing by hand will be too slow and inconsistent.
